I love Athens. It's where I went to college and every time I go back to that city I feel nostalgic for 'the good old days'. So when Sarah & Amos wanted to so their engagement session on campus I was ready and willing! They are such a cute couple and they know each other very well, which they should since they've been dating since they were 15! We walked all over the North campus at the University of Georgia and captured many beautiful moments between the soon-to-be husband and wife. We wish them a lifetime of health and happiness with their upcoming wedding!

Beautiful Baptism | Athens Event Photographer

Sunday was a big day for this little one. Not only was it Allie's 2nd Birthday, but it was her baptism. Allie wore her great great great grandfather's gown as her closest friends and family met at The State Botanical Garden of Georgia in Athens to witness the private ceremony. Kait and I felt so lucky to be able to capture such a special event in this family's life, even though we almost suffered a heat stroke. Luckily, Allie's grandmother brought cold bottles of water to share! We love it when people plan ahead, because we rarely do! Congratulations, Allie and Happy Birthday!

New Church Member | Gwinnett County Newborn Photographer

Whew! I've been waiting for this little arrival! Miss Ellie is the newest member of our church family. We met Dale and Lori just a few months before they found out they were expecting. Since then, we've grown closer and closer with them and counted the days until Ellie's debut. It's been so exciting to watch them prepare for her arrival and to finally be able to hold and squeeze her. Congratulations, Dale and Lori. We love you.

15 days new | Athens Newborn Photographer

I was so excited for this session. My little one will be six months old tomorrow, so I couldn't wait to hold a tiny newborn. Grayson is just 15 days new and absolutely perfect. His big sister was more than willing to hold him for a sibling picture which is normally out of the question with a toddler and newborn. We wish this family all of our best and hope to see them soon!

Four years ago, I had my first sweet baby boy and although he will always be my baby, he is no longer so little. I love taking pictures of my boys and thankfully they put up with it! Happy Birthday, Ethan!!!

Brittany and Patrick were are very first Groupon clients! And we couldn't have asked for more. With props in tow, these two got out of their car with a burst of energy! They are one of those couples that you can see their love. Patrick is in the Army and needed to catch a flight back to the base later that day, so we met in Athens to shoot quickly before he had to leave. It was a shoot that I didn't want to leave though. They were so much fun and we wish them all of our best!

Our Groupon ran this weekend! We offered new clients a one-hour session with an edited DVD of images for only $49!

Friday morning, I woke up and was super excited just to see that one person bought one. Kait was out of town celebrating her nieces first birthday, so I texted updates to her every hour while she was in the car. I check my Groupon app so much that my phone kept dying.

We sold 43!

Kait and I planned for months for this ad, but I don't think that either of us were prepared for the outcome. We cannot wait to meet new faces and shoot some beautiful portraits!

Coolest Kid in Town | Gwinnett County Child Photographer

This is my second time photographing this heart breaker. He's still sportin' the mohawk and looking too cute at it! We did an Easter/3 month old/Family session and we captured some amazing smiles and touching moments. One of my favorites was with baby Carson, his Daddy, and both Grandpas as they enjoyed looking at sweetness in it's simplest form. Every time I look at these images I will remember to cherish each and every moment we have with our loved ones.
